The EasyConnect Origin Story My father began showing signs of cognitive decline in 2023 and his symptoms have progressed ...not steadily, but frustratingly back and forth without warning. Like many patients, Papa Fred has "good" and "bad" days but for now he recognizes all of his family and is able to hold meaningful conversations. His attitude remains positive and he has accepted his diagnosis, often apologizing when he gets confused or forgets an important detail. Dad has always been a luddite and used a typewriter in lieu of a computer all the way up until he fully retired in 2021. A man of a certain generation, using a phone or tablet was never easy for Dad even before cognitive decline and after diagnosis, even harder. Unfortunately, the creation of our app came later in his disease cycle and using even the simple interface we have designed is difficult for him. We are hopeful that your family will embrace our app and leverage it to stay in touch with your loved ones for as long as possible. |  |
